If you come from the east, Google Maps will often try to bring you down a section of Class IV (unmaintained) road that is often difficult for low-clearance vehicles, and sometimes completely impassable no matter what you're driving. If you're relying on a GPS to get here, I recommend that you go to downtown Hardwick, then enter the address and follow the directions. This route will bring you down a well-maintained road that is mostly paved.
